ROTO GRAVURE SERVICES
MCP’s gravure division provides a seamless solution from the same high quality prepress services as described in the prepress section. The online interface between our Barco system and MCP's Ohio Electronic Engravers Image Processing Workstations provides fast and reliable transfer of data. These workstations are utilized to build cylinder layouts and step and repeats necessary for the completed engraving forms. Stored mechanical marks, or imported cad die files, are used to assure exacting fit of images for die cutting and packaging finishing equipment down stream. MCP outputs final size inkjet proofs from the engraving data for final internal checks and customer review. Upon approval and subsequent engraving of cylinders, all engraving parameters are archived for remake engraving accuracy. |
