• Project Planning and Preflight:
  
  Our experienced Customer Service Representatives are able to provide a job plan that suits every customers needs. Assessing customer supplied artwork, files, prints, and other supplied information, comparing that to estimated services and providing the solid ground work for quality job instructions and schedule to satisfy customer requirements.
  
  
• High Resolution Color Scanning:

  MCP's new state of the art Scitex EverSmart® color scanner scans all types of art from reflected, transparency, and color negative. Either in CMYK or RGB. MCP can copy dot or descreen from supplied films for help in converting older materials to a ctp workflow.
  
  

• Special Color Separations:
  

  In packaging it is not unusual to use alternative "special" colors needed on a package in addition to four color process. What is rare is a separator such as MCP whose expertise takes the guess work out of the process.

• Digital Color Manipulation and Retouching:

  MCP utilizes Mac and PC versions of desktop programs as well as the Barco Colortone workstation to perform the most demanding graphic manipulation.

• High-end Image Assembly:

  Our workflow of choice is the Barco Fastlane. A client server system allowing us the most flexible, productive and highest quality work flow. It supports an unlimited number of special inks, imports Postscript and .eps files, input and output of PDF files, and PS fix software, which automatically corrects file problems. CT-switch and OPI support allow for low resolution image swaps. Input and output of Scitex CT and LW formats.

• Digital Proofing:
  
  
  • Iris 3047 33" x 46" continuous tone ink jet proofer.
    
  • Hp 3500cp 600 dpi ink jet proofer with a 54" width, directly interfaced with Barco system to assure output quality prior to output of film, gravure cylinders, or final digital files.
    
    
• Data Storage:

  All customer files are archived for reuse. CD rom is the preferred media, specific customer requests are entertained.

• Digital File Transfer:

  WAM!NET - Guaranteed 400 MB per hour service for both sending and receiving. Ability to track, digital delivery receipts, digital job tickets. Gateway accounts will be setup for those clients who do not have WAM!NET managed service.

• Film Assembly:

  MCP also provides Conventional Film Prep Services able to contact to final film 54" x 78".
